The Northwest Adirondacks

The Northwest Adirondacks is a special place of mountains, lakes, rivers and forests.  It is not hard to get off the beaten path here–even while staying on paved roads.  The routes include the Oswegatchie River from Oxbow and up to Cranberry Lake.  On the Tooley Pond Road ride, you can visit as many as 6 waterfalls on the South Branch of the Grass River.  And finally, the Raquette River Road ride takes you past 5 hydroelectric installations and their associated ponds.
